Champion System's Othman Fourth In Final Stage In Japan
Adiq Othman finished fourth in Sunday's final stage of the Tour of Japan, giving the Champion System Pro Cycling Team its seventh top-five finish as the six-day race came to a close with a short, flat stage in Tokyo.

Othman's teammate, Will Clarke, launched an attack with 1.5 kilometers to go in the 112.7 km race but the peloton was determined to end the race in a field sprint. "Cameron Wurf did his best to get Adiq in position for the sprint, but they ended up getting boxed in against the fence," Champion System Assistant Director Chris Wherry said.

Taiji Nishitani (Aisan Racing Team) took the stage win while Fortunato Baliani (Team Nippo) earned the overall victory as the overall standings remained unchanged.

Chris Butler (fifth) and Wurf (seventh) finished in the top 10 overall for Champion System as all six of the team's riders placed in the top 20 in a race that saw 31 of 93 starters drop out.
